Adrian and Wendy Spencer established Mulwarree Stock Horse Stud in 2004 with the first registered foal born to the stud prefix Mulwarree. Although a relatively young stud Mulwarree Stock Horses has had years of breeding and experience within the horse industry.
Adrian and Wendy have been starting, training and breeding stock horses all their lives. Wendy has played ‘A’ grade polocrosse to a Representative level to more recently competing, showing and campdrafting Australian Stock Horses. Adrian and his family have used nothing but Stock Horses for the daily running of The Ironbark Hereford Stud.
David Spencer (Adrian’s father) registered two horses with the Australian Stock Horse Society back in 1968. “Log Cabin Silver Wave” a stallion and “Log Cabin Lands Flicker” a mare which was the beginning of the Log Cabin Stock Horse Stud. Many of the broodmares used in the Mulwarree Stock Horse Stud go back to Log Cabin breeding.
The broodmares used in Mulwarree are all proven ridden stock horse mares that have never been a chore to ride. The sires used have a pedigree that’s stacked with trainability, athleticism and natural cattle sense.
Our stock horses have excelled in the showring, campdrafting, polocrosse, pony club and eventing. Our aim is to continue to breed calm, trainable and athletic Australian Stock Horses.
