The broodmares used in The Mulwarree Stud are all proven ridden mares and have either been ridden by Adrian and/or Wendy. These mares have been selected and kept as broodmares for a reason. These mares have had long days in the saddle doing cattle work on the Ironbark Hereford Stud, where they have remained sound, strong and athletic, with heart and desire to do their job. These mares are mares that have never been a chore to ride.
We firmly believe that no matter how good a stallion is, he is only as good as the mares he is joined to. Although some of our mares are not registered mares don’t let that deceive you, they are broodmares for a reason not as a paddock ornament.
